Systems: Xbox 360, Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Vita

Brandon Filler – Executive Editor

Brandon is the black sheep of the lvl30.com editors being born out west in San Diego. He is often referred to as a Yankee by his southern rivals. He owns and operates a computer repair business and is a recording engineer in his down time. As a result of his diverse skillset, he always welcomes new learning experiences. There is no preference to the types of games he likes to play, although if he did have to lean in a certain direction, it would be towards RPG’s.

Systems: Windows, Playstation 3, Android, Wii

David Lee Wright (a.k.a Magic Dave) – Executive Editor

Otherwise known as Magic Dave. Dave was a contributing editor for POCG (Playing Out of Control Gaming) back in that day. Dave’s been a avid PC Gamer for about as long as PC’s were around. Starting with playing frogger on a PCjr, to saving the world in XCOM on a PS/1 486 Consultant, to navigating a 56k modem to destroy n00bs in Quake. Dave is still an active member of clan POC, a Quake II lithium clan that still plays every Tuesday. Rumor has it, Dave filmed a short mockumentary about XCOM back in 2004, the internets still struggle for confirmation.

Systems: PC, MAC, iPhone

Darth (Daisy) Filler – Contributing Editor

Daisy Filler hails from the rolling hills of Tennessee where she has spent many a summer gaming during her youth. Currently, she raises three young children (four if you count her husband) while teaching English to over-enthused adolescents. In her spare time, or what is left of it, she still enjoys a game here and there. Because she frequently instructs the fine elements of plot, she critiques most strongly a game’s story line.

Systems: Windows, Playstation 3, Wii

Denis Hirschhorn  Contributing Editor

Denis lives in northern Massachusetts. Most familiar with MMORPG’s, he has been playing games in that genre for over a decade. When not playing MMROPG’s or engaging in other activities, he occasionally will fire up the PS3 and play games on that platform. As an aspiring martial artist he has an appreciation for action and strategy games and has probably spent way too much time trying to perfect the way he runs missions while playing them.

Systems: PC, PS3

Jason Jernigan – Contributing Editor

Holden Morgan – Contributing Editor

Holden is a good ole boy from the south, when he’s not hunting, fishing, or working with his hands he’s playing MW3. He enjoys any game that lets him shoot things or has the word NASCAR in the title.

Systems: Xbox 360

Mark Rabenhorst – Contributing Editor

Mark known as “Kivak” by most, is from the hot state of Maryland. Though he graduated with a degree in Environmental Science and Ecology, he is a computer programmer by trade. From the young age of 6, he had already become a “gamer”, with an unending interest in Real Time Strategy games from Warcraft and Age of Empires, to the modern Dawn of War and Sins of a Solar Empire series. More recently, he has branched out into MMORPGs, FPSs, and just about any other game he can find. His favorite platforms include: PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and yes even his iPad. With hundreds of games bought and played, the only real question is: what game is he buying tomorrow?

Systems: Xbox 360, PC, PS3, iPad

  • Bea Wright

Bea is a Geek Girl to the core. She started with going to see a whole slew of superhero movies, we mean every single one! From there all things snowballed. In a summer, she watched the entire cartoon series of the X-Men (the one from the 80’s) and started routinely checking the new graphic novel section of her local library. She had weekly Super Smash Bros parties in her dorm room at college. She played WOW… which she had sworn to hate for all eternity. And then, she saw Firefly for the first time ever. And there was no going back from there. She was officially becoming a geek. Plus she dates Magic Dave so that helps a bit too…
